Lucija Grladinovic

I am a Master student doing research in Behavior, Evolution and Conservation specialization. I am still discovering my main interests within these three diverse, yet integrated fields. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences at University of Zagreb in 2017. Afterwards I expanded my knowledge and skills in molecular methods by doing an Erasmus internship at the Department of Chromosome Biology, University of Vienna. During this internship, my goal was to obtain coupled expression of proteins that take part in the synaptonemal complex during meiosis in order to explore the recombination mechanisms. With this internship I gained an insight in molecular life sciences, which I would like to pursue in my future career.
