Candice Charles
After graduating with a BSc in Biological Sciences from Northern Caribbean University, Candice pursued an MSc in Bioinformatics at Queen Mary University of London. She joined the Arguello lab in 2026 to investigate the evolution of the Drosophila larval brain by studying differences in gene expression across species. Her research combines computational approaches, including differential gene expression analysis, gene ontology enrichment, and phylogenetic methods. Outside the lab, she enjoys organising youth initiatives at her church, designing digital content, and travelling.
